Red Velvet Cheese Brownies

This red velvet cheese brownies is something new that u can try....asyik red velvet cake aje kan...buat brownieslah pulak... but have to warn you that this brownies is not something that u will fall in love after having a bite...like when u eat the real red velvet cake... hehe.. it's nice, delicious, but none compared with the red velvet cake itself...and i know why...becozzzz red velvet cake has cream cheese frosting...yes...that's the secret.... anyway, still enjoy eating this...

Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients:

■1/2 cup butter
■2-oz dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
■1 cup sugar
■2 large eggs
■1 tsp vanilla extract
■1 1/2 tsp red food coloring
■2/3 cup all purpose flour
■1/4 tsp salt
■8-oz cream cheese, room temperature
■1/3 cup sugar
■1 large egg
■1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 350F. Butter the bottom and sides of a 8 inch metal baking pan. Put a long piece of parchment paper in the bottom of the pan, letting the parchment extend up two sides of the pan and overhang slightly on both ends. (This will make it easy to remove the bars from the pan after they have baked.) Butter the parchment.
2.In a small, heatproof bowl, melt butter and chocolate together. Stir until combined and very smooth. Set aside to cool for a few minutes.
3.In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and red food coloring. Add chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Add flour and salt and stir until just combined and no streaks of dry ingredients remain.
4.Pour into prepared pan and spread into an even layer.
5.To prepare cheesecake mixture, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth. Distribute the cheesecake mixture in 8 dollops over batter in the pan. Swirl in with a knife or spatula.
6.Bake for 35-40 minutes, until brownies and cheesecake are set. A knife inserted into the cheesecake mixture should come out clean and the edges will be lightly browned.
7.Let cool completely in pan on a cooling rack before lifting out the parchment paper to remove the brownies.

Cerita Ikan Masin

Sedapnya ikan masin....sangat suka ikan masin, kalau dapat makan bersama nasi panas dan cili campur bawang letak kicap...pergghhhh memang boleh bertambah nasinya....

Ini ikan terubuk masin...datang khas daripada sarawak...my mom bought when she visited sarawak months ago..goreng ngan cili padi and bawang...besttt...
Yang ni pulak ikan masin makan pulut dan kelapa manis..tp ni bukan homemade, beli kat kedai..hehe sedapppp
Ini ikan pekasam...lebih kurang ikan masin gaklah...tapi tak sehebat ikan masin...tp tetap masak cara yg sama, cili padi and bawang..and ada stok petai, letaklah petai..kasi umph skit....

Homemade Ice Cream

Very easy homemade ice cream....Bahan-bahan pun x susah...A must try...Tak rugi membuatnya...Anak2 bertambah sayang...percayalah....hehe
The one i did here is a combination of chocolate and strawberry flavour.... nyummmm..slurrpppp
1 mug susu coklat
1 mug coffeemate
1 sudu milo/serbuk coklat yg buat air tu (tp yg ni optionallah)
Caranya blend semua sekali dlm blender hingga berbuih,masuk dlm bekas dn simpan dlm fridge...agak2 dh nk beku,blendkn dia lg sekali...masuk dlm bekas,klau nk mskkn choc chip ke choc rice ke blhlah dn simpan dlm fridge smlman atau hingga keras cm eskrimlah....tu je..kalau blend lg smpi 3,4 kali pun ok, mghasilkan texture yg lbh halus...
* susu coklat blh ganti ngan susu strawberry dan letak paste strawberry(skit je ye) atau blh potong2 strawberry kecik2 atau susu segar biasa ngan perisa jagung....ikut sukalah

250gm Whipping Cream
150gm susu pekat manis
40gm MEC3 Raspberry atau perisa MEC3 yang lain (guna apa2 paste biasa pun blh, atau cairkan bittersweet cooking choc)
50gm Classic Dark Couverture Sicao (guna cooking choc biasa pun blh) - optional
Cara-caranya:
1) Pukul whipping cream yang sejuk dengan mixer pada kelajuan yang tinggi sehingga 'peak'
2) Kemudian campurkan whipping cream yang sudah 'peak' dengan susu pekat. Setelah sebati, campurkan MEC3 Resberry dan kacau rata.
3) Cairkan coklat Couverture Classic Dark dan 'drizzle' pada bekas tupperware yang sudah disejukkan di freezer selama 10 minit. Kemudian, masukkan campuran ais krim ke dalam bekas beberapa lapisan sambil 'drizzle' coklat couverture pada setiap lapisan ais krim
4) Bekukan ais krim tersebut di dalam freezer sehari semalam atau lebih (sehingga ais krim tersebut beku 'firm').

The Custard
1/2 cawan tepung custard
2 1/2 cawan air
1/2 sb gula
semua tu masak atas api hingga pekat dan berkilat...masukkan dlm bekas jelly kecik2, sejukkan

Kuah custard
1 tin susu cair
1 tin besar mix fruit cocktail
1/2 cawan air
4sb gula
1 st esen vanilla
1st tepung custard - utk pekatkan kuah, and its optional (i didn't put)

campur semua bahan dan masak dgn api kecil
bila gula dah hancur, terus tutup api
sejukkan bersama2 custard di atas td..campurkan semua di dlm...
boleh tambah buah2an lain juga...



Happy Birthday Abirah Eimani

Birthday niece yg ke 4 tahun...19th March 2011. At first she requested a Superman cake, and everybody was like......haaa???!!! superman...????!!!! Hehehehe kinda weird bcoz she's a girl, and she is very soft...Then grandma said...suruh mak ngah buat kek princess ye...? ok tak... and she said..oklah... hahahaha
And she's very, very, very happy and excited with this cake....Alhamdulillah...

Apam Nasi


First time buat apam menjadi....Apam ni sedap, cuma saya masih mencari2 resipi yang selalu saya makan masa kanak2 dulu...huhuhu sedap betul apam tu.....

Bahan-bahannya.
  • 2 cwn nasi
  • 2 cwn tepung gandum
  • 2 cwn tepung beras
  • 1 cwn brown sugar
  • 3/4 cwn gula pasir(dua2 gula pasir pun takpe)
  • 2 1/2 cwn air
  • 2 sudu kecil yis (mauripan)
  • kelapa parut dgn sedikit garam
Cara-cara

  1. Blend nasi dan air sehingga hancur(masukkan air sedikit-sedikit..blend sampai halus)
  2. Setelah hancur, campur brown sugar dan gula ke dalamnya dan blend sehingga sebati.
  3. Dlm bekas lain,satukan tepung gandum,tepung beras dan yis.
  4. Selepas itu,masukkan bahan cecair tadi ke dlm bekas tepung. Kacau sehingga sebati.
  5. Perap selama 3 jam.
  6. Panaskan pengukus dan balut penutupnya dengan kain.
  7. Sapukan sedikit minyak pada acuan kecil.
  8. Masukkan dlm acuan kecil dan kukus selama 15 minit..
  9. Hidang bersama kelapa yg telah di gaul dengan sedikit garam..atau enak dimakan begitu saja.
